Information We Process

VoiceCraft processes only the content and identifiers needed for the feature you choose: text entered for text-to-speech, SSML markup, txt files selected for text-to-speech, audio files selected for speech-to-text, an optional SiliconFlow API token only if you choose Custom Token, an anonymous install ID for quota checks, and App Store transaction IDs after purchase or restore.

VoiceCraft also uses an anonymous install ID for quota and Pro entitlement checks, and App Store transaction IDs when you purchase or restore VoiceCraft Pro.

VoiceCraft does not require an account and does not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, advertising identifier, or payment card information.

How Information Is Used

Submitted text and audio are sent to the VoiceCraft HTTPS API only after the app shows a recipient-specific permission prompt and only when you start generation or transcription.

Before text-to-speech generation, VoiceCraft identifies WangWangIT as the third-party AI service and asks for permission to send the text, SSML, or txt file content you provide, plus an anonymous install ID for quota checks. The VoiceCraft API forwards that data to WangWangIT only to generate the requested speech audio and enforce quota.

Before speech-to-text transcription, VoiceCraft identifies SiliconFlow as the third-party AI service and asks for permission to send the selected audio file, an anonymous install ID for quota checks, and the optional custom SiliconFlow token only if you entered one. The VoiceCraft API forwards that data to SiliconFlow only to transcribe the selected audio and enforce quota.

The anonymous install ID is used to enforce free daily quota and apply active Pro entitlement. App Store transaction IDs are used only to verify purchase status with Apple and unlock paid quota.

Storage

The app may create a temporary local audio file so you can play or share generated speech. Custom SiliconFlow tokens are used only for the current request and are not stored by the app.

VoiceCraft does not permanently store raw text, SSML, txt file contents, selected audio files, or custom SiliconFlow tokens on the server. The backend stores quota counters and active Pro entitlement status for the anonymous install ID. Active entitlement records expire after the subscription expiration date.

Sharing

VoiceCraft does not sell personal data and does not use submitted content for advertising tracking. Requests may be processed by service providers involved in delivering the app functionality: Cloudflare for API proxying, security, quota enforcement, and legal/support page hosting; WangWangIT for speech generation; and SiliconFlow for transcription.

WangWangIT receives text, SSML, or txt file content plus an anonymous install ID for text-to-speech generation and quota checks. SiliconFlow receives selected audio files, an anonymous install ID, and an optional custom SiliconFlow token for speech-to-text transcription and quota checks.

Third-party AI providers are required to protect submitted content with the same or equal safeguards and use it only to provide the requested AI voice result, not for advertising tracking.

Security

The App Store build uses HTTPS API communication. Plain HTTP fallback is not used.
